KnowledgeWorks is deeply involved in trying to transform our education system from a world of schooling to a world of learning.  We started out as a traditional grant-making foundation, and today we are an emerging social enterprise, working on the ground to incubate and develop innovative high school models throughout the United States.

It is normal for school administrators to examine their leadership as a function of leading and supporting teachers. The logic is simple to follow: School leader supports teacher. Supported teacher is more effective in class. Students learn more (and better).
