    One of my beliefs about the CCSS is that teachers of ELA are going to have to look to more non-traditional sources for texts. Magazines, videos, and newspapers can play a great role in the teaching of informational text.

    There are some brilliant Common Core related ideas out there. This is one of them! Tying project based learning and global projects to the CCSS really demonstrates the powerful shifts that the new standards can bring about. This video is worth the watch.
