Another great post from All Things Common Core...there are 3 states who've gone above and beyond when it comes to unpacking standards. Use these to guide you in your own work (and to save you a lot of work, too!).
This is a weighty, but much needed, read. It's the mathematical standards of practice that truly need to be understood in order to fully make a CCSS transition. If you're a math teacher of any level, you've got to explore them, and this article unpacks them in a valuable way.
These are the "illustrated standards" created by Illustrative Mathematics for the K-8 CCSS. It's a work in progress, so eventually they will have them all included. But it's still really good. Really, really good.
This is a fascinating interactive map of "Learning Trajectories" for K-8 math that appears to have been developed by NC State University.Definitely worth taking time to explore.
