SOURCING SPECIALIST Cape Town Reporting to the Regional Executive Manager, the incumbent will execute the require-ments of operations and supply chain management through sourcing quotes and applying best practice to ensure best value for money, quality of goods and services. Responsibilities: * Issue RFQs, purchase orders and online converting of Requisition on Great Plain. This includes a good understanding of the regional environment (commodities, suppliers and business requirements) to be able to ensure an effective process * Coordinate and assist with contracts and supplier management activities, ensuring that efficient and standard practices are followed, and that future cost exposure and other risks are duly covered * Guide the different business units with their selection of suppliers and the enforcement of service level agreements * Assist in ensuring that supplier performance is monitored against the agreed indicators and that the preferential procurement requirements are adhered to.
