A small legion located in one area is known as the first stage; a little larger tumor is called stage 2; spread within the lungs is called stage 3, and if it spread to other parts then termed as stage 4. The content of this site was initially prepared, at the request of medical and nursing staff and others, some weeks after I had had an emergency operation for the removal of a colon cancer, and while undergoing chemotherapy in case any cancer cells had gone AWOL. Dichloroacetate (DCA), a drug that has been used for many years in patients with metabolic disorders, has recently been gaining attention for its cancer-fighting capabilities. Studies in the lab have already shown its potential against lung, breast and glioblastoma cancer cells. Now a new study in the journal Gynecoogic Oncology finds that DCA might also be a promising therapy for endometrial cancer.
