The Globalization and Localization in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (GLoCALL) Conference aims to share knowledge, research and experience on how to use computer technology to make language learning more effective and pleasant; to explore how the technology can be adapted to better meet the local needs of students and teachers, while at the same time providing global perspectives on computer-assisted language learning (CALL); and to bring the technology within the reach of local teachers who wish to develop their professionalism in CALL. GLoCALL is jointly sponsored by APACALL and PacCALL.

Have been using Livemocha since 2009. The designs of the courses are so good. Seem to be based on day-to-day needs of EFL/ESL learners. I recommend it to my students. Just be careful about the spam messages you get :)

SFU (Simon Fraser University) create a website in which CALL related links are shared with students who are eager to know more about CALL and they have the chance to explore different aspect of language learning and teaching with the help of hi-tech.

Xilisoft Movie Maker is used for making movies in different formats. Audio tracks can be added to them and make the use of those movies more easier in the classrooms.

This can replace your PPT slides.

They used to offer some additional features like not having Prezi's logo on the slides and more free space. However, to have this 'privilege' one had to use an academic email. Seems they are not offering this anymore. Aside from this change, Prezi is wonderful for those who like creating sophisticated and more interesting presentations. I have used it, and I'm pretty satisfied.
