Imperium is a Latin course for the twenty-first century; unique, highly resourced and written to make fullest use of modern technology. Its texts follow the life of the Emperor Hadrian, from his early childhood to his later years, as he became the most powerful man in the Roman world.
Imperium is tried, tested and ready for general use, after a trialling period of six years. It consists of three course books, a Grammar and Syntax book and the all-new Imperium Latin Unseens, for advanced users. All of the texts can be ordered through Amazon but are also available as pdf files in either one of our two Site Support Packs, which can be bought by schools. Please browse this website to read more about the materials and their distribution.
Play Shiritori against the computer. In this game, you have to type a word that begins with the character that the previous word ended with. If you type a word that ends with "ん", the game ends--because no words begin with ん.
Real Time Student Reponse System. Students use computers or mobile devices to respond to multiple-choice or constructed response questions posted by the teacher. Student responses can include text and the ability to draw or write by hand. Instant results can be displayed. Also allows the teacher to provide feedback and grades.
Use books and articles in English or import your own in any language. You can add annotations and questions to the articles, plus create quizzes. Students can also comment on the articles.
Limitations: Free accounts can only import 3 articles per month. Presumably, you can use as many of the existing articles and books as you want, but they are only in English.
