A browser add-on that lets you add clipart and links to YouTube videos.
Limitations: Previously, this allowed you to annotate and add subtitles to YouTube videos, but now it is only clipart and links. It is now is a Facebook app instead of a stand-alone application.
Popcorn Maker makes it easy to enhance, remix and share web video. Use your web browser to combine video and audio with content from the rest of the web - from text, links and maps to pictures and live feeds.
Limitations: Popcorn projects only play in Firefox.

This mediathek provides excellent streaming links to recent news via television and radio programs. There are some links to current TV shows, but the site is more focused on news. Advanced proficiency preferable.
Note: many of the live TV broadcasts can only be used if the computer believes itself to be in Germany (a German VPN may be needed).
