The website that I found this week as a useful tool is readworks.org. I believe that this can be very beneficial to any and all teachers. It provides information on reading comprehension and it is all aligned to the Common Core State Standards of all 50 States. It is a free site with a lot of very helpful resources and many teachers encourage the sharing of this particular site. IT helps you to create your own lesson plans from it and provides many non-fiction material that is level appropriate.

I like sharing ideas and getting ideas from other teachers...this website has a lot of helpful hints and tricks and leads you to other websites that can help with a number of things such as lesson plans, worksheets, puzzles games etc.

To me, learning should be fun. That is the reason I picked this site. It has great, practical and fun ideas for kids. As a teacher, parent or grandparent, we can always use some creative ways to teach/play with the kids. That is when this site will be of great use.

This website talkes about four principles that need to be kept in mind when planning lesson plans that involve using technology. The four principles discusses are alignment, accessibility, assessment, and reinforcement.

This Blog gives insight on how to move forward in schools and become effective teachers. The article is talking broadly to schools, but I found the word schools to interchangeable with teachers.

This website has many different links for teachers. Some are for specific subjects while others are projects or lesson plans and many other various things.

This is a link of an illustrated chart of 27 ways to find out what your students know before teaching new content. It may be helpful in finding out where your students are and how much review you may need to go over before starting something new.

Seems like an awsome sight to help teacher's work through their first year as a teacher. The survival guide part of webpage seems like it would be an awsome thing to read for tips and ideas. It seems to have help for teachers no matter what age group they are working with and might even make things a little easier.

My niece who is a former History teacher but now an administrator recommend these books. I think that there is additional information on the site that will be very useful in our careers.

A good article that provides links to studies done showing iPads in the classroom improve education.

I thought this would be a useful site for the class to view. It shows different video guides for new teachers that can be used for teaching. I bookmarked the one on technology, being that I'm a visual person I enjoyed watching the teacher incorporate technology in her lesson plans to improve her teaching. During the video it displays useful tips and shows a sidebar of valuable questions that can be considered.
