The commodity MCX contract of Crude Oil Futures for May is closed on Thursday at a price of 4577 rupees per barrel and Showed a Downfall of 6% in the market. The commodity contract opened this morning at a flat price of 4975 Rs and made the intraday high with same level with a last traded price of 4444 Rs which is Fall by 133 rupees after an intraday low of 4219.

Hong Kong stocks were restricted to a narrow range around break-even point early Friday, with energy producers such as Cnooc Ltd. helping to support the market, although banks and property developers fell after a sharp drop on Wall Street. The Hang Seng Index was up 0.1% at 20,747.01 after opening lower, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index was flat at 11,931.28. rose 1.5%, and PetroChina Co. gained 0.8% as crude-oil futures rose in New York trade. Ranking among losers, China Overseas Land & Investment Ltd. dropped 1.5%, and index-heavyweight HSBC Holdings PLC dropped 0.5%. The Shanghai Composite Index, meanwhile, dropped 0.5% to 2,552.91.

The commodity Natural gas futures pared previous gains traded near $4.270 after EIA reported lesser than expected decline in Natural gas inventory. Stockpiles fell by 6 Bcf against the forecast of decline of 8 Bcf.

Gold closed down for second consecutive week shredding nearly $13 to end the week at $1487.79 after hitting 6-month low. Gold came under pressure as dollar rebounded and U.S crude oil fell more than $2, also, with no Greek default, investors liquidated their positions in Gold.
