curriculum by exploring the distinctions between Science and Engineering.
The Engineering is Elementary® (EiE) project fosters engineering and
technological literacy among children. EiE has created a research-based,
standards-driven, and classroom-tested curriculum that integrates engineering
and technology concepts and skills with elementary science topics.
The National Defense Education Program (NDEP) invests in science, engineering
and math education from middle and high school through college and post
graduation. NDEP's mission is to support a new generation of scientists and
engineers who will apply their talents in our nation's defense laboratories.
The art of pitching a baseball requires great skill and dexterity to master. A great pitcher is one who understands the engineering of the baseball itself and the aerodynamic principles at work while the ball is in flight.
