Follow the Desert RATS Team During Analog Testing The NASA Desert Research and Technology Studies team, also known as Desert RATS, marks its fourteenth annual field test and the first time a mission to an asteroid will be simulated. While NASA has landed astronauts on the moon and rovers on Mars, the agency is only beginning to tackle the challenges of visiting an asteroid. Desert RATS team members will conduct simulated human and robotic space exploration test activities in extreme Arizona terrain to investigate and develop realistic technical and mission-driven operations similar to those of an asteroid mission.

"Materials Science and Engineering major, with concentrations offered in Biomaterials and Nanotechnology. As expected, the program provided a solid grounding in what materials science really is. Students explore materials from the atomic level all the way through crystal structures, multiphase systems, and bulk properties. You'll have an opportunity to learn why objects' matter matters. You'll explore the details of why glass shatters, metal bends, and rubber bounces back-and that's just in one class on mechanical properties. GLOBE at Night is a worldwide, hands-on science and education program for primary and secondary schools. The GLOBE at Night project encourages citizen-scientists worldwide to record the brightness of the night sky. During four select sets of dates, children and adults match the appearance of a constellation (Orion or Leo in the northern hemisphere, and Orion and Crux in the southern hemisphere) with seven star charts of progressively fainter stars. The map is located at http://www.globeatnight.org. Participants then submit their choice of star chart online with their date, time and location to help create a light-pollution map worldwide.

Our trip to Oshkosh this year, a proven necessary part of out aviation connection presence, will be extra special. Lydia will be travelling and will be sharing her story with many as she is in the USA for 2 weeks. Lydia is really progressing and has a desire to change other peoples lives in relation to health and technology so that others do not have to suffer as she has. We will be 'based' out of the Zenith stand, and would love to share with any who attend Oshkosh WHY we use the Zenith aircraft and also how we carry out the bag- and bottle-drops as well as a sneak peak into the planned skid-drop concepts we are currently working on.

You can now address deployment frustrations by creating various profiles for the devices (such as one for office workers, and others for bosses and supervisors) that offer restrictions to hardware such as cameras and built-in services like FaceTime or the App Store, and also which allow you to specify which Apps can be used. When the profile is set up, you can then supervise the devices using it and make adjustments to the profile that are applied the next time the device is connected to the Mac (do keep in mind the device is wiped when updated in this way)."
