Elks Club to open restaurant
By Samantha Swindler / Managing Editor
The Tri-County Elks Lodge is taking on a unique fundraising venture - they're planning to open a restaurant on Corbin's Main Street.
K.R. Deaton, a member of the lodge's board of trustees, said the Elks are interested in opening a restaurant in the club's remodeled building at 207 North Main Street.
"The availability and locale of the property provided by the Elks Club is like an unanticipated gift that makes the proposed center possible, a dream of a multiuse facility that could become a reality. Additionally, the facility already has ample parking, a full-service restaurant, a bar, dance floors and rooms available for other activities."
For the first time in nearly 12 years, a rodeo will be at the center of Helldorado Days.
And it will be right in the middle of downtown Las Vegas.
