How can this type of statement be true? How can the author of things not really value His creation?

As Christians, we all have the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit guides us, convicting us of sin. Then why hasn't the Holy Spirit convicted us of the sin, if our thoughts about the length of creation aren't proper? God allows me that wisdom, why is it, when I pray for wisdom to-understand young earth reasons? Of-course, the flip side of that is equally uncertain. When why doesnt the Holy Spirit convict the young earth followers that they are wrong, when the period of days of development aren't 24-hours?
Can it be this is not a matter-of crime? Could it be that what we look at the 'how' of creation is not important to God? It would seem to be the case. All too often, young earth creationists amounts to cooperation with the devil, and declare that our way is wrong, and assess old earth creationism to sin. If God does not care which type of creation you imagine in, then Morris states are empty rhetoric. There's no requirement for young earth creationists to resort to such techniques.
