Vinita Nanda's Facebook post about being raped by Alok Nath, almost 20 years ago, has helped everyone peek into the dark underbelly of showbiz industry. Now, in a recent interview, she explained why she broke silence years later. Meanwhile, Nath has dismissed the allegations and called them absurd.

Alok Nath has now filed a defamation case against Vinta Nanda who had accused him of raping her 19 years ago. He raped her in an inebriated state. The allegations created a storm in the industry after which actresses Navneet Nishan and Sandhya Mridul also spoke about being harassed by the actor.

The rape accusations leveled by Vinta Nanda on actor Alok Nath shook the nation this year, and brought the much needed #MeToo movement in Bollywood. However, Alok had rubbished the allegations and called them malicious. In fact, he has now sought an anticipatory bail in the case. Here's more.
