An Indian legendary athlete Milkha Singh's biopic 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' was the big winner on Friday's glittering night at the 59th edition of annual Filmfare awards. This biographical sports drama movie notched maximum awards including Best film, best director award for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and the Best actor award for the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar who played the role of Milkha Singh on the big screen.

Bollywood actor and director Farhan Akhtar is a great combination of multi talent. The filmmaker is well known for his film making and at the same time his acting prowess has also been appreciated by one and all.

The Screen Awards, (earlier titled Star Screen Awards), is an annual awards event took place in India honoring professional distinction in the Hindi Film Industry. The nominations and award selections are done by a panel of very successful professionals from the industry. At a lively and high-spirited Tuesday night, B-town talents were respected with prestigious trophies at 20th Annual Life Ok Screen Awards. Besides Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Ram Leela that clinched the top honours, flicks like Madras Cafe and BA Pass glimpsed the dawn of new era in the modern cinema.

Finally the most awaited Bollywood film award, IIFA, is all set to attract the Bollywood celebs. On Thursday, the official list of the nominations of 15th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards has been announced. This year's IIFA awards will be held in Tampa Bay, Florida where all the biggest stars from Bollywood will rock the stage for four days i.e. from 23rd April to 16th April. Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar will host the event.

The 15th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA Awards) will held in April, but the organizers have declared the achievers of the "Technical Awards" category.
