I've been updating my WordPress installations using Fantastico, and although the updates take a while to hit Fantastico, they always went smoothly when I applied them. I never lost any customizations or anything.
I am completely new to everything to do with creating websites. I have a Wordpress theme that I want to use. I have a domain registered with another company, and am using Bluehost to host my website.
It seems to take Fantastico way too long to adopt new Wordpress upgrades. I noticed that the new SimpleScripts that is offered now on Bluehost already have Wordpress 2.5 and many other regularly released applications.
I have several websites on BH. They are all WordPress sites, all have different URLs, and they all have different themes. I have to update each installation separately each time a WordPress update is released.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for uploading images. I am trying to change an image in a wordpress theme. When I upload an image from my computer it shows up in the folder as a file on my hard drive.
I am trying to install Fedafi Wordpress plugin and it needs to use Ioncube. I have installed as instructed and as what was discussed in the bh support site.
I bought a domain through name.com yesterday, added it as an addon domain at BH.(I changed the server address to bluhost 1 and 2 instead of name.com) All looked fine so I added Wordpress to it.
I tried to install WordPress on his site twice and now we can't even access the home page. I recall reading something about Bluehost rewarding referrals-is that still in effect?
