Can anyone point me in the right direction for uploading images. I am trying to change an image in a wordpress theme. When I upload an image from my computer it shows up in the folder as a file on my hard drive.

I just setup a new pbpbb 3.0 forum, but I need to allow the upload of files to a 10Mb, I make the changes on the forum control panel and instaled the php.ini.default file on my public_html directory using the site control panel

I thought I was doing this correctly, but apparently not. I've uploaded the smilies pak's into my smilies folder inside the public_html; however, when I then go into the ACP in my site and try to install the new smilies pak's it says there are no new smilies to install.
