The State Library of Victoria is the major reference and research library in Victoria, Australia, responsible for collecting and preserving Victoria's documentary heritage and making it available online, and through a range of services and programs. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxMelbourne, where x = independently organized TED event.
