After watching the news today about the crisis in the middle eastern and Egypt, I had a terrible sinking sensation in my stomach about every one of the precious Antiquities in their Museums. I've watched each and every program I've had access to about all the learning and discovery channels regarding anything Egypt. For many years I have been drawn to the topic.

For years We have watched the pinnacle of all antiquities inside Egypt, Doctor. Zahi Hawass. He lives and breathes for his history and those of his country. I was so sad to determine all the harm and destruction of so many beautiful issues.

The looters had a field day and it's a total disaster to determine that his own people don't manage to care about their particular rich background and how it has affected all of those other world. I had been very glad though, to determine that they called the army to protect the art gallery, until this is over. Before the army showed up, they actually stood a human chain formed round the museum to guard it from the more looting. The looters destroyed a few beautiful works of art work, a few of the statues and they even defiled some of the mummies.

It just boggles my thoughts that a nation that is thus rich in background and myth, and also legend and wonder can damage its own Antiquities without even an following thought. I've dreamed of planing a trip to Cairo to see the particular pyramids and the Egyptian Museum and also to travel to Thebes to see the wats or temples and to Memphis and....on and on. A lot of places for these beauty. To gaze at the mighty Sphinx, or to actually enter into one of the many tombs within the Valley from the Kings. To determine the stage pyramid, or even the temple of Amun in Karnak or even the Bust regarding Nefertiti, there are plenty of places I have longed to determine and now I'm afraid that they will be ruined and that It will end up unwise to journey to Egypt any more.

The looters had a field day and it's a total disaster to see that his own people don't seem to care about their own rich history and how it has affected the rest of the world. For more information click here.
