2) This model explains a lot when it comes to intercultural sensitivity. This goes through stages of thoughts each person has when coming in contact with another culture. Of course the first time that each person comes in contact with another culture they will deny the differents. Then eventually they will be able to integrate the differences so that everyone can work together in a world that works for both cultures. Going through the steps that were presented would take each person a different amount of time. That person would have to be open to a new culture and willing to understand what that culture is about. If they are not then these stages would take a while to work through.
3) A meeting in my day would be very difficult for me since I have not been around a lot of different cultures. Now that I kind of know the different steps it may be easier. First of all my mind would just be denying the difference and I may even try to fight the difference. However once I realize that there is nothing to fight and we are people going for one goal I will try to minimize the difference. Then I will understand that instead of minimizing the difference I need to accept it and adapt to the difference. Finally I will integrate the differences and finally be able to work with that culture to reach our goal.
