One-stop shopping for rubrics. This site contains a great rationale for using rubrics, advice on how to write good rubrics, and links to sample rubrics, rubric collections, and rubric generators (Try the Rubistar generator and storage link).

Instead of listing all the different ways a task deviates from the target, the single-point rubric simply describes the target in a single column of traits.

The practice of using single point rubrics is slowly but surely catching on. Try one for yourself and let us see it!
