  I just met the President of the local Vietnam Veterans of America, at a July 4th celebration.
  He said that members regularly go into schools and speak about thier experiences and answer student's questions about the war.
  I teach several short stories by Tim O' Brien, Vietnam Veteran, and I will definitely invite these heros to my alternative school program.
