My inspiration to write a blog on MapReduce with Eclipse is that sometimes we have all the stuffs but,we do not know how it works or how we can do it.It creates problems to get into tune.This blog will help you to get through all that you need to run a MapReduce application on Eclipse.

All of the following should be available from the Eclipse MarketPlace. However if not, you can download them throughout Eclipse as follows. Once you've set up Eclipse, download Subclipse from per http://subclipse.tigris.org/.

We will use here eclipse-jee-juno-SR2-linux-gtk.tar.gz and m2eclipse 0.9 and import maven projects with all feature and we will check out the mahout sources into your workspace directory.you will do a full build on the command-line and import in Eclipse from File - Import - Maven Projects. Point it at the mahout root directory. You are then given the opportunity to choose which sub-modules to import.
