Science Writer steps students through the process of writing a report with introduction, methods, results, and conclusion sections. Students draft, revise, and edit their report, using just-in-time support from pedagogical agents who offer models and information about how to write each section. They may also access content and editing checklists to help them evaluate their writing and make revisions. And finally, students can use the embedded text-to-speech tool to listen to their writing to see if it "sounds right" and to listen to any of the directions and instructional material, as well as accessing vocabulary definitions. 180 Technology Tips is a great resource for educators. It sends out an email everyday with a 5 minute lesson on some aspect of technology. You just sign up using your email address and it does the rest. Topics include better web searching, Microsoft Word and Excel tips, email, toolbars, cellphones, and more. The site also has past lessons archived for you to look at. I found the lessons easy to follow and understand and recommend this to all teachers.

f you have Google Chrome installed on your PC, it can actually do this. Google Chrome includes both an integrated PDF viewer and print-to-PDF features. Drag-and-drop a PDF file into the Chrome browser window to open it in Chrome. Click the menu button in Chrome and select Print. Click the "Change" button under Destination and choose Save as PDF.
