Narendra Pratap on 28 Aug 19Jaipur is home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites - the Jantar Mantar and the Amer Fort and many other forts and palaces. This fascinating city with its romantic charm takes you to an epoch of royalty and tradition. Built in 1960 by Thakur Umed Singh, an IAS of that era, Peelwa Homestay served as a second home to Maharaja of Karauli for 10 years (1965-1970). Its located very strategically far from the crowd yet so near to the walled city, just 700 mtr from Albert Hall Museum, 1.5 km from Sanganeri Gate and 2.5 km from City Palace. A beautiful collection of antiques has been showcased all over the house by Thakur Ajit Singh Rathore which it a home-in-the-museum.
