Since I know most people in the class aren't aiming to be string teachers, I thought I would post this important site in case any of you is thrown into a string teacher position. Super important for all string teachers, so keep it in mind if you end up teaching violin!

Amid the obvious over-use of the syllable 'uhm,' the tutorial lacks structure, and even general content knowledge.

The point of this video is to teach the viewer how to play the chorus of "Call Me Maybe," but the person who made the video does a terrible job. He plays with very poor technique, and his explanation of how to play the song is confusing. When naming the notes used in the song, he continually says the wrong note names, and he even names the violin strings incorrectly. To top it off, when he actually plays the chorus, he plays entirely wrong notes.
