Human settlement of Mars in 2023 Mars One will establish the first human settlement on Mars in 2023. A habitable settlement will be waiting for the settlers when they land. The settlement will support them while they live and work on Mars the rest of their lives. Every two years after 2023 an additional crew will arrive, such that there is a real living, growing community on Mars. For 25 years, the ADC was a key center for published astronomy data, catalogs, and journal tables. The ADC made these data sets computer readable and developed new methods, tools, and techniques for their preparation and use.

"LAMOST survey contains two main parts: the LAMOST ExtraGAlactic Survey (LEGAS), and the LAMOST Experiment for Galactic Understanding and Exploration (LEGUE) survey of Milky Way stellar structure. The unique design of LAMOST enables it to take 4000 spectra in a single exposure to a limiting magnitude as faint as r=19 at the resolution R=1800, which is equivalent to the design aim of r=20 for the resolution R=500. This telescope therefore has great potential to efficiently survey a large volume of space for stars and galaxies."

"The Habitable Exoplanets Catalog (HEC) is an online database of potentially habitable worlds discoveries for scientists, educators, and the general public. The catalog identifies, classifies, and compares exoplanets of interest for the search for life in the universe. There is no guarantee that any of these worlds are habitable since we know very little of them now. The catalog is maintained by the Planetary Habitability Laboratory @ UPR Arecibo and is updated as new data is available."

he NASA Star and Exoplanet Database (NStED) collects and serves public data to support the search for and characterization of extra-solar planets (exoplanets) and their host stars. The data include published light curves, images, spectra and parameters, and time-series data from surveys that aim to discover transiting exoplanets. All data are validated by the NStED science staff and traced to their sources. NStED is the U.S. data portal for the CoRoT mission.
