As I mentioned in my first travel lens A Layman's Guide to Port Dickson , I love the beach. And so does my other half. As a matter of fact, we fell in love at a beach resort in Cherating. We were both working there. We had so many good memories there. So this year for our 5th anniversary we went back there to relive those magical moments. So I felt its right to write something about this beautiful place. Cherating is a popular coastal resort area that boasts one of the finest white sandy beaches in the Peninsular Malaysia. It was made popular by the backpackers who came to enjoy the beach, sea and sun. Its located less than 50km north of Kuantan.

Cameron Highlands was first discovered by William Cameron, an English surveyor in 1885 under his commission by the colonial government. It's located in Pahang, Malaysia. Cameron Highlands is a retreat with population of more than 43.000 people. This highland is one of Malaysia's most popular tourist destinations.
