The Mardi Himal is recently open Tea House trekking destinations in Annapurna, travelers who would like to experience the splendor of solitary snow capped peaks and excellent cultural experiences at Machhapuchhare base camp. This is one of the best trips of Nepal to access highest elevation in shortest walk. The name of the Mardi Himal comes from the long rising ridged summit, which part of the southwestern lower slope of the triangular skyline Mt. Machhapuchhare (6,993m). The mountain possesses twin peaks - hence its name, Machhapuchhare, which in English means "fish tail".

The first part of Mardi Himal Trek trail goes to through dense pine, juniper, and rhododendron forest with raging rivers in the background. Then a different route takes us steeply down to the upper Mardi Khola. The stream has previously been the ice and the snow of the Mardi Himal. It offers you isolation and is still far enough away from other populated trekking routes. This trek tends to take on the moods of the warm valleys with kind hearted friendly people. The trail goes along the bank of the Mardi Khola from the idyllic Nepali hillside villages through the lovely rice terraces and unique traditional villages. The trail to Mardi Himal ascends through the forest with a variety of wildlife up to the Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m). If you already visited Annapurna Base Camp; then you will be wondering ABC scenery just below from here. It offers views of the hillock of Mardi Himal (5,588m) and the Mt. Annapurna massif. Around these appears a majestic grouping of mountains in the central Himalayan that includes most amazing close up views of 5 of the 14 highest mountains in the world.  The highest accommodation of Mardi Himal is at 3,580 meters. Since 2011 this trip has opened, then several tea houses have built now a day, where you can sleep and having meal.
