I created Quetzalcoatl Blossom Variation 2 with various filtering, layering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop, including among others the KPT filter, and fractal generator, "FraxPlorer". First named, Abstract Image 955, I later renamed it Quetzalcoatl Blossom Variation 2. Through further layering and color effects, I explored this basic image theme in 8 variations. When first gazing upon the finished image, my initial thought was of a large feathery headdress with a Quetzalcoatl style. However, it was more than just a headdress, for a comparable energy up-wells from within the Earth rising into and even infusing the headdress. So with this image I find myself easily imagining a figure in the lotus meditative position through which this energy blossoms from beneath, and fills the headdress. Like all of my digital art, as a final step, I added the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Bob Findlay recently entered the "Riffstar 2009 Song Of The Year Competition" and had reached the # 2 position only to discover that he had 'vanished' from the site without explanation despite the fact that he had obviously drawn lots of new visitors to the site.
