Getting Started with Firefox extension - Diigo help - 0 views

  •  Feature Highlight: Highlights Diigo saves the day with "highlights". Highlights let you select the important snippets on a page and store them in your library with the page's bookmark. Let's try it. Just open a page, maybe one of your old-school bookmarks or one of your new cat bookmarks, and find the information on that page you actually care about. Select that important text. Got it? Okay, now put your hemet on, 'cause this might blow your mind! Click the highlight icon on the Diigo toolbar. It's the one with the "T" on a page with a yellow highlighter. You will notice that the selected text gets a yellow background. This means that the text has been saved in your library, and as long as you have the Diigo add-on the text will be highlighted on the page! How's that for easy?   Now you've highlighted the text. It will appear in your library within the bookmark for the page it is on. Go to your library and you can see how it works. If you're not sure how to get to your library, just click the second icon on the toolbar (Diigo icon to the left of the search bar) and then select "My Library »".
  • Sticky Notes on the Web What? I can put a sticky note on a web page? How? Oh, that's right! Diigo. Just right-click anywhere on the page and choose to "add a floating sticky note". Type up your note and choose "Post", then move the note anywhere on the page. You have to type a note first, before you move it where you want, otherwise there's nothing to move!

A Tear in the Space Time Continuum - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
As I've said in the last few recent posts, I decided to bring some of my older works forward and publish them for my audience here at Bubblews. "A Tear in the Space Time Continuum" is another example of an image that I created using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. Just after creating it, I sat back, gazed at it, and the first thing that came to my mind was that it looked like a tear in the space/time continuum, so without any further thought, I decided to simply give it that title, "A Tear in the Space Time Continuum". Sometimes the titles I give my abstract pieces are almost like Rorschach tests. The first thing that I see in it becomes the title. If any of them were to be interested, psychologists would probably have a field day deconstructing my titles.

Penetrating Convergence Variation 1 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
I continue as I have been with my last few posts, bringing forward this postmodern contemporary abstract fractal art piece from my older works and publishing it here for my Bubblews audience. Like many others of my recently published images, I created this one using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. This image is the first variation from the "Penetrating Convergence" abstract fractal art image series theme. Also like the others, the post work on "Penetrating Convergence Variation 1" included creating the digital frame, and some filtering and layering effects, as well as adding my digital Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Penetrating Convergence Variation 2 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

Now with variation 2 of this small series, I continue as I have been with my last few posts, bringing forward this postmodern contemporary abstract fractal art piece from my older works and publishing it here for my Bubblews audience. This fractal art piece is another one of my creations using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. This work is the second variation of my "Penetrating Convergence" abstract fractal art series theme. The post work for Penetrating Convergence Variation 2 included creating the digital frame, and some filtering and layering effects, as well as adding my digital Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Psychedelic Blooming Variation - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
Like my last few posts, we have here yet another example of an older work of mine that I have brought forward and published for my Bubblews audience. Also like my other recently published images, I created "Psychedelic Blooming Variation" using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. And also like the others, the post work on "Psychedelic Blooming Variation" included creating the digital frame, various filtering tricks, and a considerable amount of layering effects, as well as my usual final step of adding my digital Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity. This piece is similar to "Psychedelic Blood Blooms", "Pastel Blooming Variation", and "Vivid Blooming Variation" using some of the same layers but blended in rather different ways. This brought about these somewhat psychedelic color and form combinations. It is more than just a color variation, for there are also differences in the shapes and forms, due to the various layer blending approaches.

Vivid Blooming Variation - News - Bubblews - 0 views

And we have yet another example of one of my older works that I brought forward and publish for my Bubblews audience. Also like my other recently published images, I created "Vivid Blooming Variation" using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. Furthermore like the others, the post work on "Vivid Blooming Variation" included creating the digital frame, some other filtering, and a great deal of layering effects, not to mention adding my digital Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity. This piece is similar to both "Psychedelic Blood Blooms", and "Pastel Blooming Variation", using some of the same layers blended in different ways. This brought about these very different vivid hues and tones. It is more than just a color variation, for there are also differences in the shapes and forms, due to the various layer blending approaches.

And again we have here another example of one of my older works that I brought forward and publish for my Bubblews audience. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity. This piece is similar to "Psychedelic Blood Blooms", using some of the same layers blended in different ways thus yielding these very different pastel tones. It is more than just a color variation, for there are also differences in the shapes and forms, as well as the orientation.

Psychedelic Blood Blooms - News - Bubblews - 0 views

Once more we have here another example of one of my older works that I decided to bring forward and publish for my audience at Bubblews. Like my other recently published images, I created "Psychedelic Blood Blooms" using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. This time I did it from start to finish on the morning of my birthday, back in 2009. Also like the others, the post work included creating the digital frame, some filtering, and with this one, a great deal of layering effects, as well as adding my digital Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

They're Here - News - Bubblews - 0 views

I originally created this image using the 3D computer graphic program Bryce, with post work in Photoshop, which is when I added the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity. I made this work of postmodern contemporary art for Sam's Dot publishing to be the wrap around cover for their April 2012 issue of the Science Fiction and Fantasy magazine, "Beyond Centauri". It really made a nice cover. They purchased a non-exclusive license, so as the original artist; I still own the copyright on it, and can continue to market it for posters and other products, as well.

Fractal UFO, Dude! - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
Playing around with one of my favorite fractal generators, Vchira, I created this work of postmodern contemporary fractal art. I sat back and looked it over well, and the first thing that came to mind was, "It's a fractal UFO". So, I titled it "Fractal UFO, Dude!" As post work, in Photoshop, I did my usual filtering, layering, and color enhancing. Additionally, I added both the digital frame, and the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

The Blue Desert of Niprox Four - 1 views

  •
This image is one of my 2008 science fiction image creations. It is a composite of four Bryce renders. Two of them were with different versions of the sky, along with the same landscape. The planet was a separate render, and lastly I rendered up a black and white alpha channel of the landscape. Using these 4 images in Photoshop as layers I brought them all together to create this final image. I then added a few post render effects with Photoshop, including the digital frame.
