Reemergence of the Ancient Ones - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
Once more we have here another example of one of my older works that I have decided to bring forward and publish for my audience at Bubblews. This is yet another image that I created using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with considerable post work in Photoshop. This one I call "Reemergence of the Ancient Ones". The post work included creating the digital frame, and some filtering and layering effects, as well as adding my usual digital Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Mandala of the Noedic Web - News - Bubblews - 0 views

I created this image through a complex combination of Photoshop filtering and layering, after initially rendering the base image with the 3D fractal program, XenoDream. The final work of art bears little resemblance to that base image. Among other filters and effects, I used Kaleidoscope 2.1 by Mehdi, set to 20 mirror petals, and the KPT Gradient Lab. The end result almost looks like an elaborate symbol of an esoteric secret society. Sitting back and meditating on it, I found myself seeing it as symbolic of the complex web of the Cosmic Collective Consciousness. In ancient Greek philosophy the Nous was thought to be the Cosmic Mind, or Primary Intellect. Thus, that of a Noedic nature is akin to this Cosmic Mind, this web of intellect interconnecting all conscious beings throughout the entire Universe. Out of all of these considerations, I ultimately came up with the name for this work of postmodern contemporary abstract fractal art, "Mandala of the Noedic Web". It is here presented at Bubblews, complete with the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Sanjhi: the rare art from Braj - 0 views

Shruti Chavan from IndiaArtnDesign in conversation with artist Ashutosh Verma unravels the fine craft of paper cutting that has its roots in Braj - a religious centre at the crossroads of Mathura-Vrindavan in UP, India. That the ancient craft is today being revived in well-appointed interiors is another nod to our legacy and endorses the need for preserving our Indian heritage.
