If you want to become a real companion of the Holy Quran then you must learn Tajweed because the Life of a Muslim is fully governed and regulated by the Holy Quran as it is the will of Allah the Almighty. He has given us the human beings the way of life and the manner in which it has to be lived in a way he likes. So it is the duty of every Muslim to study the Holy Quran and recite it properly the way in which Prophet recited it for the benefit of those around him about two thousand years ago. The Holy Quran is inscribed in the Classic Arabic language and it is not easy to recite the same in a perfect way without hard training under a learned teacher who knows the right way of doing this. Over the period of time a set of rules has been enunciated for studying and reciting the Holy Quran and these are the Tajweed. If you want to recite Holy Quran in the right way then you must learn Tajweed through a learned teacher.
