Luminous Hexagram Variation 7 - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
Again, like all the others of this series, I started with my frequently used KPT filter, "FraxPlorer". With that and other tools, I created this series of images in my usual way utilizing various filtering, layering, and color enhancement effects in Photoshop. Among the steps of this process, I used Mehdi's Kaleidoscope set to 6 petals. It is using the petals set to 6 that makes this image into a hexagram. The end result was this series of eight color variations. This one I initially named Abstract Image 874, then later gave the entire series the final name, "Luminous Hexagram". Seventh in the series, this piece of postmodern contemporary fractal abstract art, Luminous Hexagram Variation 7, is now presented here at Bubblews in this square aspect ratio, complete with the digitally embossed Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity.

Among the steps of this process, I used Mehdi's Kaleidoscope set to 6 petals. It is using the petals set to 6 that makes this image into a hexagram. The end result was this series of eight color variations. This one I initially named Abstract Image 873, then later gave the entire series the final name, "Luminous Hexagram". The post work included creating the digital frame, and some filtering and layering effects, as well as adding my digital Bill M. Once more we have here another example of one of my older works that I decided to bring forward and publish for my audience at Bubblews. This time I did it from start to finish on the morning of my birthday, back in 2009. Also like the others, the post work included creating the digital frame, some filtering, and with this one, a great deal of layering effects, as well as adding my digital Bill M. Like my last few posts, we have here yet another example of an older work of mine that I have brought forward and published for my Bubblews audience. Also like my other recently published images, I created "Psychedelic Blooming Variation" using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. And also like the others, the post work on "Psychedelic Blooming Variation" included creating the digital frame, various filtering tricks, and a considerable amount of layering effects, as well as my usual final step of adding my digital Bill M. Tracer Studio logo signature seal, small as not to distract from the design, while decidedly present, showing authenticity. This piece is similar to "Psychedelic Blood Blooms", "Pastel Blooming Variation", and "Vivid Blooming Variation" using some of the same layers but blended in rather different ways. This brought about these somewhat psychedelic color and form combinations. It is more than just a color variation, for there are also differences in the shapes and forms, due to the various layer blending approaches.

A Tear in the Space Time Continuum - News - Bubblews - 0 views

  •
As I've said in the last few recent posts, I decided to bring some of my older works forward and publish them for my audience here at Bubblews. "A Tear in the Space Time Continuum" is another example of an image that I created using the fractal generator software, Vchira, with post work in Photoshop. Just after creating it, I sat back, gazed at it, and the first thing that came to my mind was that it looked like a tear in the space/time continuum, so without any further thought, I decided to simply give it that title, "A Tear in the Space Time Continuum". Sometimes the titles I give my abstract pieces are almost like Rorschach tests. The first thing that I see in it becomes the title. If any of them were to be interested, psychologists would probably have a field day deconstructing my titles.
