    In our previous Foursquare Garden article we posted in Signs of the Times, we discussed the length of the garden the Pennsylvania Germans designed as being sixty-six feet long. This was because the length of an eighteenth century fence panel or rail was eleven feet. There is also an important invention designed in England that helped to shape the layout of our nation. The Gunter's chain played a primary role in mapping out America in for three hundred years beginning in the 1600's.

    The Commitment (C) Class liquefied natural gas (LNG) powered combination container Roll-On/Roll-Off (ConRo) ships are being built by VT Halter Marine for Crowley Maritime Corporation's liner services group. Crowley signed a contract with VT Halter Marine, a subsidiary of VT Systems, for two vessels of the new Commitment (C) Class in November 2013.
