Schools struggle to balance student educational needs with privacy and freedom of speech rights in the digital age This puts an interesting 'spin' on acceptable use and it made me wonder is Arlington wasn't already thinking about this when they bought all these iPads!

Are there people or other obstacles that prevent any of the great things in this list from happening in Arlington?

The question has to be raised that are there things in this list that APS is not doing properly? Historical note - when the first Access to Network Resources came out in Arlington we were tasked with coming up with a list of DOs to put on a poster. You may have an old one hanging up somewhere. The Students Will... the only one we couldn't wordsmith was not operate a business. The others were put into the form of what we expected to the students to do.

So how is Arlington doing on feeding the starving? ;-)

What scares me is that some of the people reading this won't think it's a big deal that a few people are still using IE6 in Arlington...
