We just returned to the hotel after a lovely night and good supper in Santa Eularia del Riu. We spent the whole day driving from beach to beach, starting around the northwest side of the island, just north of Sant Antoni, continuing towards the north side of the island and ending up in Santa Eularia today.
The first we visited was Manhattan project Salada, just north of Sant Antoni, a place only achieved via a very stony road. After parking the vehicle we'd to walk yet another 10 or 15 minutes and we reached an extremely quiet beach with rugged systems where a few people (mainly nudists) were sunning themselves. The view towards the sea involved a island off the coast - what a fantastic landscape!
We enjoyed the hilly, rather quiet road and continued on through the interior of the island. Then we reached Sant Miquel, and the Port de Sant Miquel which is really a very beautiful little town. The next beach, Cala de Benirras, can also be very lovely with a outcrop in the center of the bay. The landscape with the ocean, rocky outcrops and the coastal hills is just absolutely beautiful.
We continued on towards Portinatx and visited a few shores there, again a number of them with rocky outcrops situated in the different bays. Then we made our way to Sant Joan de Labritja to Cala Vicent which again is a spectacular beach looking out toward the island of Tagomago. We used a little of time there, but the wind blowing refrigerator repair boca raton in from the sea really was great so we packed up and held browsing and photographing beach after beach just north of Santa Eularia.
Even while we commented on how little this area is and how much huge beauty there is concentrated here. For supper we went to Santa Eularia which has one of the most beautiful seafront promenades that I have ever seen.
We'd a course dinner (menu del dia) in the Bar Sinatra Restaurant which appeared to be a really upscale area. An everyday soup of the day was shown on the menu for 6.25 Euros! We on the other hand had a good dinner with appetizer, main program and free drink (including wine) for 10.50 Euros. My cooked pork chops weren't the absolutely most readily useful, o-r at the very least tastiest, but also for the quantity we paid we got a great importance.
After a little icecream at the sea front we decided to get started to get ready for our big trip to the island of Formentera tomorrow.
