Recently came across a problem in Flash where I had artwork that spanned way past the normal canvas size - the scroll bar wouldn't even go further. To fix this, I found this forum answer that pretty much said to use 'SHIFT+LEFT/RIGHT' to nudge across. Worked a wonder!
