The 7-1930 is a small compact Tangent Galvanometer which provides an uncomplicated method for studying direction and magnitude of magnetic fields.   It also demonstrates that deflection of a magnetic needle is proportional to current, thus becoming a simple way for students to understand the internal workings of meters. The unit is constructed on an attractive black acrylic base. Requires a 1.5-volt DC power source. Includes: instruction manual, compass and connector cords. (7" x 5" x 7").
