I have a question, when I went to the application register page, I found the page layout was changed and some of my apps were gone. For example UK TV Guide, Australia TV Guide, etc. Also, the published status are all "false". I am confused because I am still seeing my ads are clicked in the daily report. Is there anything wrong? I am nervous because I just knew that an AdSense developer's account was disabled without any warning,  and the developers themselves don't know the reason. The android:windowContentOverlay is your shadow, and setting it to @null in your theme will eliminate it. The concept of ActionBar has been introduced with the Twitter application for Android. More recently, we have seen this widget in the Google I/O 2010 schedule application. Authentication with App Engine, regardless of where you're doing it, is a three-stage process: Obtain an authentication token. This can be done with ClientLogin for installed apps, for example, or with AuthSub for a webapp. When logging in directly to an application, this is the part of the login process where your user sees a Google signin screen. Take that authentication token, and use it to obtain an authentication cookie. Use that authentication cookie in all subsequent requests.

On an HTC Hero, this EXTRA_OUTPUT doesn't even work. It doesn't put your picture in the file you specify, but it hands it to you thru a Mediastore uri. Apparently, the only way to get a full size picture is to do all camera handling in your app instead of using the IMAGE_CAPTURE intent.

I think Google have missed a trick on this one. They have defined standard intents for media capture, but not specified standard responses (ie. the "data" parameter in the onActivityResult Activity callback method). Other Android vendors (e.g. HTC Hero) have created their own Camera applications that handle the standard IMAGE_CAPTURE intent, but return different data & have different ways to save/return the image information. All I want is to be able to fire a IMAGE_CAPTURE intent from my own app, and get back a Uri reference to the captured image. Simple. I have no requirement to further manipulate the image .. I just need the Uri to store in my app's database for future reference.

Google Chrome to Phone Extension is a project consisting of a Chrome Extension, Android App, and supporting AppEngine server that enables users to send links from their Chrome desktop browser to their Android device using Android's Cloud to Device Messaging service.

This widget allows users to input their address, and perform validation on this by talking to an address data server. The UI part is Android-specific, but there is potential to re-use the backend and have different UIs (such as GWT) that interface with it. More information will be written here soon on how to integrate this with your android project and our future plans with regards to making the widget available outside the Android environment.

Moreover I am not one of top developers nor any of my apps have been promoted by Android Market. I am just an one among of thousands of Android developers with not to well known apps. And what may be really surprising all my apps are free as Google do not allow developers from my country (Poland) to sell apps via Android Market!

So keep in mind these facts: None of my apps has been ever promoted in Top of Android Market I am providing only free apps (mostly due of Android Market limitations) Even if I would be able to sell apps I would not use it as main income source… (I believe that you still can make more from ads…)
