Asociatia Femeilor Din Romania - Women's Association of Romania (AFR) Asociatia Femeilor Din Romania (AFR) is the first democratic organization for women that started during the December 1989 revolution, as a result of the necessity to organize, represent and defend Romanian women's rights. It is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization, legally established in 1990.
