Drunk driving has remained to be an untreatable epidemic in the United States. And though times have changed-with BAC (blood alcohol concentration) updates and all-drunk driving still persists. The sad fact about it is, most of these citizens are teenagers and in college, according to a research done by the Center on Young Adult Health and Development at the University of Maryland School of Public Health.

The National Transportation Safety Board investigative agency made headlines in May when it proposed a "Roadmap to Reaching Zero." "Zero" refers to the NTSB's goal of achieving zero drunk driving fatalities; the "roadmap" refers to the plan to get there. The recommendation that's getting the most attention is the recommendation to lower the legal blood alcohol content (BAC) limit from .08 percent to .05 percent.
