About
Please be advised that this web site has been constructed at my own cost as a personal vehicle to promote for the most part content of people I feel contribute to developing among Other things the Social and Technical aspects of the World Wide Web ! I bring in feeds from Other peoples web logs and do not claim the content to be created by me ! If you browse the site it is obvious you will see this is fact ! I have devoted a Free Page to Mariner Software, because I use their products and find them reliable and the company has excellent tech support ! When I use a certain feature in word-press to grab a website and post it I try and add a comment describing the page ! This should make it obvious it is some one’s web page not mine ! In my opinion this is not what Nerds call Scraping ! I have alway’s let the owners of the feeds know what I am doing to date not one feed owner has said STOP ! They know my site has no affiliate links and I am not generating revenue from their Content ! If you do have a problem please marshal.m1@gmail.com !
MarshalSandler.com is a playground of ideas, introductions, and synergies. Marshal exhibits a blogging style that is less about tamping out his thoughts and more about the juggling, rearranging, juxtaposing, and syndicating of the content of other people and companies - a communications cubism of sorts. There's no room for crap, but there is plenty of room for friendly people with interesting ideas. Marshal's day is the search for new technologies, new ideas, new relationships, and new things to curse happily about. So, participate. Cut bait.
Content Management Systems - Part 1
Jason Broadwater discusses the importance of using a content management system, which acts as a system of instructions or template, to effectively manage your business website.
Getting ready for the next Rove attack
Monday, September 15, 2008 by Dave Winer.
A picture named bozo.gif1. I totally don't trust Rove when he says that McC has gone too far. I wouldn't take the bait and pass this on as the Obama folk are doing. There's got to be a virus in there somewhere. Some devious trap that springs later in this process. Rove is like the original wingnut idiot blogger, he's been practicing so long, he's the #1 troll in the USA, something I'm sure he's proud of. I've been fending off trolls almost as long as he's been one. Permalink to this paragraph
2. I don't trust McC when he says, again, that the fundamentals of the economy are strong. The first time he said it he didn't have coaches, we were seeing the original confused Mind Of McCain, raised in politics before Gotchas were such an artform. This new McC is always on message, so when he said this, it was part of, probably the beginning of, a campaign that's about to launch. Then almost immediately you can see what it is. Referrals and Your Website
Jason Broadwater discusses how a website works in your referral system. All small business service professionals live and die by referrals. The website is the second step. People look you up before they call you.
