I think is was a very cool way of being able to show just how important immigrants are to this country. This is the types of protests that really make a different in a very peaceful way I don't see why anyone would be mad about this-- other than them not getting tacos.

A Nebraska sex offender with a history of registration violations has been sentenced to 33 months in federal prison. A news release from the office of U.S. Attorney Deborah Gilg says 36-year-old Joseph Reynolds must serve five years of supervised release after he leaves prison.

i think he should have more time in prison. just because he does it 5 years ago doesn't mean hes going to stop doing it. once a sex offender always a sex offender.

Reynolds is a coward. why have to serve federal prison time when all you have to do is register? not the brightest criminal.

It is fun to look at the graph of Apple's stocks, you can see where new products were announced and other major events like the passing of Steve Jobs. But reaching $500 a stock is amazing, then you compare it to Microsoft's stock of $32ish and you laugh at that company.

You have to look at the number of shares not the value. While Microsoft is only $32 a share, there are far more shares. By Microsoft splitting stock they can give more people the power to buy in. So in response to Brice stock price isn't important, it's stock history. I will admit Microsoft isn't as solid as Apple currently is but the $32 to $500 isn't a true reflection of the companies.

Even though Microsoft isn't that big and does not have that much money in shares, I would still go for Apple because if you have shares with Apple you can get a huge amount of money.

An interesting concept for sure. Although the author might be overstating the possibility of this kind of technology, I would be shocked if most people would agree to this sort of tracking. But then again I was shocked to see how many people are OK with the TSA "naked scans" at airports too... guess privacy isn't as concerning to Americans as it once was.

As much as the vast majority of people dread the thought of this, I personally think that it has potential to make the world a much better place.

I definitely think that they should revise this bill. It was way too overreached that they would outlaw lewd and profane language, because they would have to punish an unreasonable amount of people. I believe they should step back and just enforce the no threatening or offending (the latter to a certain extent).

I think Mitt Romney is a hypocrite for sending out mixed messages against and pro gay rights.

This irritates me to think that he would even go as far as to lie. He should be comfortable with what he has done in the office and what he believes he can do.... not lie!

Haha, I think this was a brilliant PR move by Obama. I'm glad that they're beginning to pick up on the fact that the internet is a huge community... which, of course, is a huge community of potential voters. This makes Obama seem way more accessible and normal, which always registers well with voters. I must say though, he is definitely a politician. A lot of those answers were incredibly vague and some didn't even answer the question...

I find it interesting that laws are being made to protect children from certain content, as protection, more specifically the need therein, is based on perception, which roots in morality that really takes roots in religion, and by separation of church and state that means that you can't make a law in order to protect someone from a specific type of content. Violence really isn't something I see a need to protect children from, however the article did reference coitus-related interactions, which leads to an alternative related to child pornography (I believe a minor possessing pornographic materials falls under this catagory)

I don't think that they can, but if they do then videogames become just like tobacco, with older kids buying it for the minors.

I believe that schools should not be so strict about gang related clothing because a lot of people don't know that certain things you see on clothing are gang related.

I find this ridiculous that they're making a elementary student remove his jersey just because of a number that represents a gang. If it was a problem before hand, they should of let the parents and students know a head of time. And a 8 year doesn't even know what a gang is so I don't see what the big deal is anyways. They're just being paranoid.

I think that this article, although biased, gives a good overview of how divided the conversation of the Second Amendment really is in the united States.
