On Wednesday, Pope Francis urged Americans to "not be afraid to welcome" immigrants into the U.S., a stark contrast with Trump's harsh language calling undocumented Mexican immigrants "killers" and "rapists." Trump has also pledged to build a massive wall on the U.S.-Mexico border and deport the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S.
Even though Trump offended a very large group of people what he said he is still standing by it even with the Pope disagreeing with him. The Pope is a powerful global religious leader with many followers worldwide so I think it might be a good idea to listen to him and take his advice if he says that you shouldn't be afraid to welcome in new people and be more aware of what we are doing to the world and climate. Not saying jump on the band wagon but he might be slightly wiser.
