How dumb can Trump be? How does he expect Mexico to pay for a wall that could potentially cost them billions?

I agree with Ayin and Lauren. Trump can't make Mexico pay for the Wall and if I was Mexico I wouldn't be paying for it anyways. It's not like they helping the illegal immigrants from jumping the border. They are trying to prevent it just as much as the United States is. If he wants the wall so badly then he can build it himself.

Making Mexico pay for the the wall is literally going to your neighbors house with your cable bill and asking them to pay for it, they're not going to do it. It's going to cost Americans to put up this wall, and if Trump wants it to be so big and great the more it's going to cost.

Norway's alleged mass killer testified on Thursday that he played video games as a way to train for a shooting spree that killed 77 people last summer. This is something I've heard about for the last few days and I really wish I could tell this man how ignorant and stupid he sounds. Does he really think that's true, because if he does then there's obviously something wrong and he needs to get help.

I just wanted to point out that Todd Akin is a member of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology. Which I think makes his statement even more ridiculous.

Sometimes it seems when rules are too rigidly enforced, silly situations like this make me wonder, - maybe re-word the rule rather than asking a person to change their name...

He uses the sign language sign for hunter, as in a person who goes out and hunts. He turned it into his name sign by crossing his fingers instead of leaving them flat. While I agree that the school over reacted and he shouldn't have to change it, I think the idea of him "Having to change his name," is a little bit of of a loaded statement. His name will still be Hunter if he changes his name sign it will just be expressed differently. Also according to my mom, who works very closely with many deaf people every day, he may choose to change it later in life once he gets older because this name sign was chosen by his parents and he might not like it.

Football fans aren't even being true fans these days. If they truly respected their team, maybe they'd respect their teams rules. Football has made every go crazy these past few years, i have never seen so many fights, or posts just about football. It's a game... not your life, get over it, don't hurt people just because your psycho.

Rushing the field can be dangerous in some situations. You just need to be smart about what you are doing..

Interesting that we talked about the death penalty (8th Amendment issue) in class and then this story pops up! Do you guys feel the death penalty is an acceptable punishment? Is lethal injection the way to go or is there a more humane alternative?

I don't understand the death penalty. Sitting in jail for the rest of your life seems like a better way to punish killers rather than just killing them.

The simple fact behind the death penalty is that the person on death row can not harm or attempt to harm anyone in prison or out cause the people on death row are apparently a danger to everyone around them. Letting someone like that into prison is just going to set them free. They can now kill and get away with it all they are surrounded by is people that did bad so who will care in their mind. Death is the only way to make that not happen.

Politicians should do more to help change our way of life to a more eco friendly way.

Walter Williams, the Mississippi man who returned to life after being pronounced dead about two weeks ago, died Thursday.

That's crazy. It was good for the family though.

I feel as if maybe the person who pronounced him dead maybe didn't go through all the steps correctly because although I do believe in miracles, I don't know if something like that can really happen. He would have had to be only dead for a very short amount of time. But that's great for the family that got to spend 2 more weeks with him.

OK I want YOUR opinions on this issue... Was it appropriate for the capital city police shoot her once her car had crashed? She had no weapon, but were they acting to protect public safety? What is your view?

No it wasn't right to do that. Yes they were trying they could of shot somewhere else on her that wouldn't of killed her but just got her to stop what she was doing.

They should have shot her in the arm or leg just to stop her but to kill her in front of her kid is wrong. But she was also wrong for bringing her child with and putting her in a dangerous situation.

It's just goes to show that trials need to go on longer, investigated more, and acquitted right.

I don't think it was right to shoot him and kill him. I wish there was another way that people could be arrested or taken down without having to use a gun. There needs to be some kind of way we could shoot something into the person to make them faint or something. So then at least someone wouldn't die, and then they could be taken in for further questioning to the reasoning of why they did what they did. This is a hard one to pick what opinion is right. I'm on both sides.

They should have went for an injuring shot and not a kill one. Maybe this young man would still be alive today.

I think you can never be too careful with people on craisglist.. It is full of many people who don't always tell the truth and they are on there for the wrong reasons. There has always been scary problems with Craigslist

This was interesting to me, the way she admits to something but the process is taking longer to find her guilty. It's just weird to me that the girl admitted to something more but she's still being questioned. I also think it's a little sketchy that it took her two months and then she finally came out with the story and the locations where she killed them. She did state 2 people got away so finding them would help.

This is an absolutely disgusting, horrific situation. This woman and other contributors to this little boys torturous life deserve to go to prison without no thought needed.

This is absolutely crazy! This is a perfect example of police crossing the line of authority. He was killed because he wouldn't shut off the truck. His dad was trying to teach him a lesson, not kill him.

Sad stuff out there. And it kinda hits home considering this took place here in Iowa...

Not that I want to admit it, but last year I got in HUGE trouble because I told my mothers car multiple times without permission. What if they would have wanted to teach me a lesson? Would I get killed just because I had a moment of bad decisions? This makes me think how easily this could have been me.

I just don't understand why deadly force such as a gun was used against man who was unarmed, not verified as dangerous and stopped for a traffic violation. I know police are trained with other tactics to stop an unarmed person from fleeing. Fears for his life? I didn't know someone running from you was so scary.

I agree that this officer should be charged with murder. Its shocking because police officers never get punished for things they do are are unjustified. Weather the man took his taser or not, it didn't have to go to extent of being shot and being killed. But from the reading, it says that the taser fell to the ground and to police officer still fires at him 8 times. I completely agree with what happened, it's not usual that police get in trouble for some of the things they do.
