Has there been any real results from installing the traffic cameras? I know that the ones by my house don't always work so it just seems like a waste of resources there. They have probably helped reduce the amount of people that step on it when the light turns yellow but does that really solve any problems? or just teach us to rive faster in order to avoid the red lights?

I think they should get rid of them, people are more scared to get a ticket than to slam on their breaks surprising the car behind them, causing a fender bender accident.

I agree with the ban. Sure, people run less red lights, but they have caused stoplights to be more of a danger. People start speeding more to make the light to not get a ticket or brake really hard and cause accidents.

I think this an amazing step in keeping ISD. My mom works with a lot of deaf student age people over in Omaha and she says that one of the worst things that has happened to them was when the Nebraska equivalent to ISD closed because the public schools said they would be able to offer the same kind of learning environment. That never ended up happening and now they are worse off then they were before.

But the Supreme Court was clearly divided in oral arguments on Wednesday about whether police can obtain a blood test without a warrant to determine intoxication levels.

I know that in Iowa, if you do not consent to a test(s), it is as if you fail all 3. In our state, it does not take much to arrest someone for drunk driving. If you fail one of the 3, you have to consent to one of the others, or once again, you are arrested for drunk driving. In all honesty, I would be pretty angry if someone wanted to draw my blood. I am first of all, scared of needles, and I am pretty sure I am also Hemophobic. I want to see what the courts rule on this.

if you refuse to take the test its the same as failing the test

He blames Ted Cruz of voter fraud because he saw this thing that might have been government related that said he told people Ben Carson was out of the race and not to vote for him anymore even though he was still in the race and Donald says that wasn't fair to Carson let alone everyone else because people would of voted differently if they knew Ben Carson was still in the race

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - Two dead bodies were found Wednesday morning in a Council Bluffs home. WOWT reports that authorities were called about 10 a.m. about a shooting in the 600 block of Grace Street. At least one person was shot. A man at the scene told the station said he did not hear any gunshots.

what I don't understand is that his mother and grandmother were trying to help him get help cause he had a mental disorder and he turned around one night and killed his mother and grandmother.He should have got the help he needed instead of doing what he did.

Federal authorities in Omaha say they've broken up a substantial drug ring with the arrest of 11 suspects. FBI Special Agent Weysan Dun hopes the sting will bring a sizeable disruption to drug trafficking in the region. Agent Dun says, "These individuals are suspected of being significant sources of much of the methamphetamine that is being trafficked in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa."

We should decriminalize victimless crimes.
