I think it is ridiculous how Trump rallies come to such violence and in some cases Donald Trump even supports the violence by saying in one of his rallies that is someone says something negative about him to throw a tomato at them.

I think that this article, although biased, gives a good overview of how divided the conversation of the Second Amendment really is in the united States.

yeah, this story doesn't seem right through and through. What did the man do to provoke the shooting? Could the woman see he was hurt?

You can never trust anyone anymore. The government is suppose to help benefit and support the people, but they only care about themselves. The people who are suppose to protect us shoot us down in a time of need. We go against one another and fight over unnecessary things. We aren't the Worlds greatest country anymore.

This is crazy. The officer had no reason to shoot that man. He was already hurt, couldn't they tell? Police officers need to know what's right and what's wrong because they obviously don't.

I just don't understand why deadly force such as a gun was used against man who was unarmed, not verified as dangerous and stopped for a traffic violation. I know police are trained with other tactics to stop an unarmed person from fleeing. Fears for his life? I didn't know someone running from you was so scary.

I agree that this officer should be charged with murder. Its shocking because police officers never get punished for things they do are are unjustified. Weather the man took his taser or not, it didn't have to go to extent of being shot and being killed. But from the reading, it says that the taser fell to the ground and to police officer still fires at him 8 times. I completely agree with what happened, it's not usual that police get in trouble for some of the things they do.

The trauma caused through school shootings is spreading across the whole country and it is honestly devastating. I wish that the resource officer wouldn't have had to shoot but I know he did what was best for the school and the other students in the school.

Reading content like this is very traumatic. Students and teachers should be able to go to school without having to worry about someone coming into the school with a gun. I believe that schools should make an effort to make all schools safer. There have been too many school shootings in America and around the globe.

I agree because we should feel safe at school and not have to worry about what might happen, school should honestly be the safest place you can go.

It's really frustrating to see how grown adults are treating the children that survived this event. Instead of just taking the time to listen to the victims, they belittle them for being young and "ignorant," and are now accusing them of being crisis actors. One of the most important things we need to do during the gun control conversation is listen to survivors of tragedies like this. If anyone knows what they're talking about, it's these kids because they're the ones who lived through it.
