If you were the CEO of Sony, do you postpone the release of this movie for fear that other hackers will release sensitive information your company doesnt want public?

On June 25, North Korea's official Korean Central News Agency condemned the film (without naming it), promising "stern" and "merciless" retaliation if the film is released. "Making and releasing a film that portrays an attack on our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Interview_%282014_film%29

I think Sony should release the movie anyway. Korea already has the information so what's done is done. Sony spent a lot of money to make the movie so if they just throw away all of the time and money, it would be even more of a loss.
  •
I don't understand why it would be a big deal anyway its not like any of their citizens can see the movie only the Korean leader could because of the communism he is running in the country. If it as taken as a form of threat then so be it it was never intended as that.

I dont think Sony should be scared. North Korea might release all of there information and financials but the movie isnt really that big of a deal. They should go ahead and release it.

Pfizer CEO says COVID vaccine will not be ready by Election Day. - 2 views

  •
From what this article said, it's starting to feel like Trump is just going to use the vaccine and the pandemic as a campaign advertisement just like he did with the Mexican American wall. He's already showed the people he's incapable of keeping his promises and to make one as serious as the vaccine seems immoral.
  •
I definitely think that the talk about a vaccine and medication plays a big part in his campaign advertising and that it really shouldn't be. Considering he can't just make one out of thin air, and even if there was a vaccine made, he can't take credit for the hard work of the multiple scientists and doctors that ACTUALLY worked on it. I agree with the comment above, it seems immoral.

For a patient that just turned seven and has already survived numerous near-death experiences, the Affordable Care Act's prognosis is not so bad. "It's a little like a patient with diabetes," Dr. Mario Molina, CEO of Molina Health Care, a major insurer on the ACA exchanges, told NBC News.

Opinion: U.S. should copy Switzerland and consider a 'maximum wage' - CNN.com - 0 views

The referendum, which is called the "1:12 initiative" and began after supporters gathered 100,000 signatures to put it on the ballot, is the kind of elegant solution to income inequality that we in the United States should consider more seriously.

World's richest 1% grabbed 82% of all wealth created in 2017, Oxfam study finds - 1 views

"Oxfam says the trend shows that the global economy is skewed in favor of the rich, rewarding wealth instead of work."
  •
It seems that CEOs and company owners are taking wealth for themselves, rather than investing it back into their businesses. I think that, if this trend continues, it could lead to devastating effects on the economy.
